I have been eyeballing this pug totebag on ModCloth. It features the ModCloth spokespug, Winston.
I really like ModCloth, and the fact that they has a pug mascot makes me love them even more.

I love the design of the new Volkswagen Beetle! It kind of reminds me of the old Karmann Ghias. I totally want one. Eventually.
I won't be looking for a new car for awhile 'cause we just got a new-to-us Suburban.
We traded my Mini Cooper and Aaron's truck in on the Suburban.
You might think that it's not very green for someone that also has a Smart Car to get such a big SUV but actually the Suburban is Flex Fuel. It can run on either gas or E85. E85 is made from corn which is a renewable resource and burns cleaner than gasoline. It might not be the perfect solution but it's getting there.
I have been trying out the new Kodak MAX Digital Camera. I just love it. It's kinda big, so it's not something I would carry around all the time, but for taking special pictures, it's just WOW. It takes great pictures in low light and I love how it creates depth. I love when the background of a photo is out of focus.
I took some pictures of my grandma's peach tree as it's blossoms are in full bloom. I think they turned out so nice I made desktop wallpapers to share.

On Easter my Dad helped me plant a tree for the Figs & Ginger Earthday Giveaway.
We planted a little Red Bud for my grandma in her side yard. It's the same tree I planted in my yard last year and I hope it gets lots of little pink flowers on too. I only knew them as Red Bud but my Grandma calls it a Judas Tree - interesting how they got that name.
I love Figs & Ginger jewelry and I love that they do this for Earth Day. This year they are offering either the love bunny necklace or a $15 gift certificate. I got the necklace last year so I'm trying to decide what to get with my gift certificate!
Every year I try to top the Easter eggs I made the last year. After painting the chalkboard in the hallway, I had some leftover chalkboard paint and had a great idea for my eggs.

The paint went on really nicely.
It's great for writing people's names and greetings on the eggs! Now I am wondering what else around the house I can paint with chalkboard paint!

These guys have been up all night delivering Easter baskets.
I made gourd bird houses for my friends and family for Easter.
I really liked them painted just plain blue but I thought I should add a little more decorative paint to them.
The holes are just the right size for a certain type of bird I looked up online but now I can't remember. We'll see who shows up to live in them.
It was fun coming up with different designs for the houses.
These were the bird mansions. I love the squat fat one on the left. My mom gets that one.
They are pretty straightforward. Let the gourds dry. Drill a hole for the bird to enter and two holes for wire to hang it with. Dig out the dried gourd guts.
Paint the outside with exterior latex paint.
My mom had been saving gourds for me for awhile and Aaron drilled the holes for me.
Then I hung the gourds and started a bird house assembly line.
I hope everyone (the birds included) enjoys them.

I post here once in awhile about things I am working on at Kodak. Today I want to share something Aaron worked on at Wegmans.
They just launched their redesigned Wegmans iPhone App. There are so many cool and useful features like being able to scan in items at home and add them to your shopping list! But I'll let Aaron talk about it!

I have been pre-occupied with chalkboards lately. I am constantly checking this pinterest board full of chalkboard ideas. It finally dawned on me that the picture frame moulding on our walls makes for the perfect chalkboard frame.
I used this Rust-Oleum chalkboard paint. Two coats and I had the perfect chalkboard surface.
I was so happy to finally have a spot for my Shanna Murray decals!
There is also a "clothesline" across the chalkboard for hanging notes and cards. I love it so much I am scanning the rest of the house for chalkboard opportunities. Note I am getting ready to paint the hallway - hence the blotches of color on the wall. We are going with the forest green on the bottom.

Aaron finished up the restoration of the tandem bike I got him for his birthday. He took the entire bike apart, shined it up, replaced parts and put it back together again.
Aaron has named the bike Banana Split. Ha hah!
