She used to be a host on the Home and Family show, and I saw her make her turkey on there. It's her family italian recipe, and it's the best turkey I've ever had in my life. I would highly recommend getting her cookbook at barnes and noble. Just to tempt your tastebuds, the turkey has lemons that are stuffed inside, topped with fresh rosemary, basil, thyme, salt and pepper, with a soy sauce, mustard glaze on top, when cooking in the oven, it makes your house smell heavenly. It's really easy to make, and the gravy that comes off the turkey, you can top off your stuffing. I mix butter with lemon juice & whatever seasonings sound good and brush that all over and inside (remeber to take out the stuff on the inside first). Then I take a stick of butter (or margarine) and put it in the bird. Cut up a stick of butter and mash it all over the outside. Cover with foil and cook at about 350ish for several hours, periodically basting. Make sure it's cooked throroughly either with the pop up thing or stick it good and see if the juices run clear. I've never had a dry tasteless one yet. And to be honest - I don't really even like turkey.
