There is another grey mini just like mine in my office parking lot. Like magnets we always seem to park near each other. Today I found "the other mini" snuggled up right behind mine.

You can imagine how many times I have stood next to the "the wrong mini" repeatedly pressing the unlock button with frustration until I realize it's not mine.

I have even tried to distinguish my mini from "the other mini". I added a Domo antennae ball.

And a Cram Cream mushroom air freshner. I still try to get in "the wrong mini" on a regular basis.

When I first started blogging, Aaron started a blog too. His blog eventually became rather neglected... much to my dismay. He just didn't show an interest in blogging.

He says he has a renewed interest in blogging because he has found his topic... getting his Smart Car. He now has a blog called smartcar a (the a=aaron). I am as excited about his new blog as I am about his new Smart Car on it's way!

I took this picture for Aaron. (I changed the plates in case you are wondering)

When Aaron found out Smart Cars were coming to the US, he got on the reservation program list. Everyday he checks his inbox for the "Come and pick up your Smart Car!" email. He plans on parking his truck and driving this and his scooter everywhere he needs to go.

Today I pulled up behind a Smart Car at a light on my way to work. I scrambed for my camera so he would know.... they're here!

So on Monday we found out that the bug was totaled. *sniff* We weren't too surprised because the airbags deployed and those are pretty pricey to replace. The worst was when we went to the lot to get the plates and it had already been towed to a scrap auction and all there was left in the parking space was shards of green plastic.

Tuesday we were at the VW lot looking at bugs and I spotted a little "previously loved" (used) grey Mini Cooper amongst the VW's.

I took it for a test drive and then this evening I took it home. It is about as cute as a bug and handles really well.

I still love bugs and will probably get another one someday, but I wanted to try something new for awhile.

Aaron is excited because it has six speeds. I like the sunroof.

car

We had a great day today at the Kodak Theatre... unveiling the winning paint scheme for the Kodak No. 12 car and printing out pictures from our Kodak All-in-One Printers for people that stopped by. Oh, and we gave out those tickets for old printers... Shout out to Craft & Bake who showed up for tickets with printer in hand!

bag

We also had THE Nextel Cup on display. I was enamoured with the giant Tiffany bag it came in. I could sleep in that!
