Summer sandals

I am definitely on a sandal kick this summer.

Especially when I find them on sale for $10. I will miss them when fall arrives.

Outer Banks - June 2007

The temperature has fallen in Rochester and Autumn has most definitely arrived. But just before we leave Summer, let's take one last look.

Remember the strawberry popcorn I planted in my garden last year? Well, we were sitting around the firepit when I got the bright idea to pop it in our outdoor popcorn popper. 

It popped... quietly and without much gusto. Look at the tiny little kernels we ended up with. 

We won't be putting Orville Redenbacher out of business anytime soon. (check out Orville's gourmet recipes!)

It's really sad when the ice cream truck comes to our neighborhood. Aaron and I practically knock each other down trying to get out the front door when we hear the truck bells. Check out my bubble gum popscicle.
