Here is a very blurry pic of Aaron in front of Liberty. When I was in London, I didn't buy any fabric but I did get some tote bags from Liberty. I think Aaron got some cufflinks.
I checked out the Liberty Target web page - you can download liberty prints for your iPhone. I like these dresses they had on the site.
They are also going to have a Liberty print bike, ties and other various items. Cute!
I saw that Giada has a line of kitchen gear and cooking ingredients at Target. I like the colors but I had to say the gear could be cuter... like Nigella's egg shaped items. Has anyone tried the pasta or other food stuff?
I almost forgot to blog about this because I picked it up on the way home from my parents at Christmas and it seemed ridiculous to blog about Valentines Day so early. I found this in the Target $1 bins... it was $2.50 however, but still a great deal. It's perfect for our Jack & Jill bathroom upstairs.
Target has their really cute holiday t-shirts for $5 again! Aaron checked with every Target in town to find this Hedgehog Toboggan Rental shirt in my size.
I also got the Snow Bunny one.
Umm and the Snowman Marshmallow one too. Yeahhhhhh I got three - but I wear them a lot!
This year Target's Halloween theme is Skelanimals. They make me a little sad because they are described as "Adorable little animals who have met an untimely end-mostly due to their own reckless and ill-advised behavior."
It's pretty hard to top last year's Domo Halloween at Target but the Skelanimals dressed in bunny and bear costumes are pretty funny.
A huge thank you to everyone that left me a comment and let me know that the 10 pack of multicolored fine tip Sharpies were on sale for $4 at Target WITH a free Sharpie Pen! Woo-hoo!
We were checking out the Christmas clearance sales at Target over a week ago when I noticed they already had their Valentine's Day stuff out. And the theme is OWLS! Can you believe it?!
We are going to PA this weekend to help replace my grandparent's garage roof and I made an apple pie to take home for my dad. Yeah, the crust is all fancy and here is how I did it.
Tah-dah! A handy dandy crust cutter I found at Target on clearance. For $2 it makes my pies look extra special.
The flip side has heart cutouts and I used it for this chicken pot pie I made earlier the week. Jazzy!
Thanks to all my wonderful blog readers, when I got home from Toronto I had many emails informing me of Domo's presence as the Halloween mascot at Target. Thank you everyone! I scurried over there after work and nearly hyperventalated from all the Domo.
Aaron just walked around shaking his head mumbling that he thinks someone at Target is reading my blog.
They did a really nice job and the Target I went to didn't even have everything up yet! Well, that just means I will have to go back again in a couple days.
I have asked for a post holiday display from the Target people before... and I always got the run around. I don't know if I can handle the rejection again.
I spotted a bunch of t-shirts at Target under the label "Tell the People". i really liked the birds on barbed wire design. They were for men, but the small size fit just fine.
I already have a nice sewing machine my mom gave me... but
check out this HELLO
KITTY SEWING MACHINE I saw at Target!!! So cute... it's
disgusting. I bet everything sewn on this machine comes out perfect and
adorable.
I saw these chips in the check out line at Target. I knew Ming Tsai
made Blue Ginger gourmet food products for Target, but this was the
first I had seen the chips. They didn't have full size bags... just the
snack size. The Hot Tamari Rice Corn Chips are de-li-cious! I had to
buy five of the little bags.
It's hard to ignore all the Easter Stuff in the stores already. I love bunnies and they are everywhere. I spotted these bunny suits in the Easter aisles at Target.
Aaron looks disgusted because I was suggesting we get one for him to wear for Easter Sunday. I made him stand next to it to see if it was long enough. That's one big Easter bunny!
Aaron and I were shopping for Lauren's first birthday when I saw these knitted stuffed toys at Target.
They are called Grannimals (site under construction... but also are here and here) because the creator was inspired by her Grandmother. She recalls her Granny creating ten different animals, each one different, inspired by her ten grandchildren. Each one was knitted to reflect their character. When Granny was done, each one was placed in a beautifully decorated shoe box.
Suddenly it was "Lauren who?" and I went home with a Lucien bunny.
