Wegmans Pez Dispenser
Yesterday I came as close as I ever have come to screaming in the middle of Wegmans.

It was because I spotted a display of WEGMANS TRUCK PEZ DISPENSERS!

Is it possible that two things I love so much could come together as one?!

I can hardly believe it... they even have the place setting design on the truck cab. So cool!

Wegman's Ultimate White Cake!

I just tried the new Wegman's Ultimate White Cake. If you think they couldn't top the Ultimate Chocolate Cake, think again. I got a little one (I love the wee size) and it tastes like WEDDING CAKE! I love wedding cake. If I was getting married again I would seriously consider getting a Wegmam's Ultimate White Cake for my wedding cake and I'm not even kidding.
By the way @Wegmans is now on Twitter. You can tell them how much you love their cake.

New Wegmans reusable bags

I LOVE the new reusable bags at Wegmans! Look how they strategically placed logo right on a grape and a pea.

The bags are 95% recycled material! I would like to see an orange carrot one and a yellow banana one too.

Also new... the funky new carts at Pittsford Wegmans. The handles are super comfy and check out the awesome little basket on the back with the drink holder!

Cocopop

A little bit ago the Pittsford Wegmans got an interesting addition to their tea bar.

It's a Coco Pop Machine that pops out yummy corn/wheat/rice cakes. It's really entertaining to watch... they really do pop out of the machine... so much so that there are plastic guards to keep them from flying across the store.
The machine website says a characteristic is "show and tell"... that it attracts customers via all 5 senses. This is so true. You cannot help but be drawn in by the loud popping noise and popping action. Aaron and I stood and watched it for quite awhile.

They are so tasty too. Our favorite way to eat them is with peanut butter and sliced bananas on top.
They are low calorie, no preservatives, zero fat/cholesterol and no sugar. Nice!

Ok, I realize that this is a lot of packaging for blueberries. But when I spotted these Fresh Blueberry Blasters made by Nature's Partner at Wegman's I could not resist. I tell myself I can reuse them.

There are holes in the packaging so you can flip open the lid and run water through to wash them.
Why am I such a sucker for this kind of thing? Next I will be buying individually wrapped blueberries.

I have developed a serious addiction to Vitamin Water. Luckily I can get my fix a iittle more affordably now that Wegmans is making aqua-V. I am not going to comment on how amazingly similiar their packaging and labels are to Vitamin Water. Or the fact that they have three of my favorite Vitamin Water flavors, acai-blueberry-pomegranate, rasberry-apple and fruit punch. They are all really good. I have to have one at work everyday.

It's froggy cupcake time again at Wegmans.

I know there has been a lot of questioning as to whether these even count as cupcakes.
Okay not widespread controversy or anything....... okay so like one comment... but anyhow.
I think they do count as cupcakes. Take a look inside.

I chomped one open so you can see there is indeed cake inside with lots of pink frosting on top. Then green frosting is poured over the whole thing.
Yummy and cute.

Last night I got a text from Tina asking if I was watching The Office and if I noticed the Wegman's milk in the opening scene. Sure enough, Wegman's products are showing up on the show... read more about it on the welovewegmans blog.

Wegman's bakery is making these ridiculously cute sugar cookies. Just makes me want to buy one of each. You gotta watch out for that black icing on the ladybug's eyes though... it turns your mouth black!

Do you love Wegmans? Or just wondering what all the hype is?
Then maybe you should check out welovewegmans.blogspot.com!

I spotted these Flat Earth Baked Veggie Chips at Wegmans in the snack aisle and was wondering why they weren't in the natural food section. They looked so wholesome.... then I was suspicous because I had read about companies putting farms and cows on their packaging to "look healthy".
After reading the back I discovered they are made by Frito Lay but they do seem relatively healthy.... no artifical flavors or preservatives, no trans fat, 1/2 serving of real veggies in every ounce.
Always game for something new, I got the Farmland Cheddar. They were very tasty! They also have Garlic & Herb Field, Tangy Tomato Ranch, Wild Berry Patch, Apple Cinnamon Grove and Peach Mango Paradise flavors. I thought berry and peach chips sounded strange but I have heard people say they love them.
It's so hard to tell these days what is good to eat and what isn't. I even read something about my beloved Annie's Mac and Cheese!
This article from the Onion is pretty funny though.

Yesterday while other people were scrambling around Wegmans looking for tortilla chips and chili powder, I was drooling over the baked goods case. These little suger cookies are my favorite as I think they have the proper cookie to frosting ratio any good cookie should have.
I also succumbed to the call of these mini-croissants and sugar brioche. Can you stand these croissants? tiny=cute

Part of Aaron's job is to do special events and today I got to go to one. Today, Ming Tsai came to Pittsford Wegmans to demonstrate a few of his recipes and sign books. We also got to taste the recipes... yum!
Ming has three cooking shows, three cookbooks and a restaurant in Boston called Blue Ginger. I especially like the show "Ming's Quest" because he goes to out of the way spots to get ingredients for his dishes and then cooks it on location. He is funny on the show but he is even funnier and more engaging in person.
Ming always uses Kyrocera Knives and TruBamboo cutting boards. I was tempted to buy one of each for him to sign along with the books.
(By the way... Aaron and I did not plan on being matchy matchy)
