I forgot to take a picture of the spring window I did for my friend Sarah's yarn shop. Aaron helped me make these yarn flowers for the windows.

The flowers are yarn balls on green dowel rods stuck in flower pots. Last night it was time to switch the spring window out for a summer one.

I went with a picnic theme with my friend Debbie's idea for yarn ice cream cones.

She rolled balls of yarn which I stuck on ice cream cones.

I think they turned out really cute.

Aaron also put together a yarn hamburger for the display. He was quite pleased with it.

I forgot to post pictures of the January window i did for Sarah's shop.

I made a yarn snowman with styrofoam balls wrapped in white yarn, knitting needle arms and button eyes.

I also used the three snowmen Aaron's great aunt made on a wee sled.

I love doing these window dressings!

When my friend Sarah opened her yarn shop, I asked right away how she was going to do her window displays. I have always been interested in window dressing and she was happy for the help.

For the holidays I decorated little Christmas trees with tiny balls of yarn.

I like the windows to always have a yarn or knitting theme.

In the fall one of the windows held baskets of apples and yarn.

The other had an apple pie making scene with balls of yarn standing in for apples.

I wish I had gotten pictures of the Halloween and Thanksgiving windows too, but I forgot. There was lots of pumpkins, leaves and balls of orange yarn.

I went to the Finger Lakes Fiber Arts Festival today. I love petting all the sheep, llamas and yarn. This particular sheep was in seventh heaven having his head scratched. Look how his eyes are closed in happiness. I never met such a personable sheep before.

I bought some yarn of course. The light brown will be a shawl, the dark brown a poncho. I am going through a brown phase.
