2004 Oscar calendars

I needed a sort of handmade gift that could be made in mass quantities for me to give to everyone on my Christmas list. I turned to my muse... Oscar.

Using all the images I have taken of him over the past year, I made a graphic and added it to a calendar at Cafe Press. I ordered a bunch on them and then waited nervously for them to get here in time.

Meanwhile, I cut little trees out of green felt. Aaron helped. Each tree had a slit cut into it.

Then I cut bands of red felt and sewed buttons to one end. On the other end I cut a slit.

The red felt buttoned around the rolled up calendars and then I buttoned on the trees.

Tadah... cute and useful gifts for the coming year. Oscar gives it his sniff of approval.
