sunflowers

I had my bamboo fence on one side of the yard for privacy and wanted to do something for the other side. So I planted ornamental sunflowers.

Here is a picture of them as they are growing. They blocked the icky chain link fence nicely.

This was the first sunflower to bloom.

The bees really loved hanging out on the sunflowers.

Unfortunately I didn't take a picture of them all as they were in bloom. Dumb, dumb, dumb. They were lovely though... trust me. Must plant them again next year.
