halloween decor 2002

I really like decorating for Halloween. Orange and black look so dramatic together.

On the mantle I scattered leaves and glass candy corn. I also put my creepy tree with little scary ornaments there. The sign is from a letter kit I got at Barnes and Noble.

The theme for my front door was "pumpkins and black cats". Hah... actually that's just how things worked out.

I hung orange lights and pumpkin lights in the sunroom windows. I also stuck little tiny shepherds hooks with pumkin candle holders down the path leading to the sidewalk. The wind kept blowing them out but I managed to get one picture of them.

It all looked spooky and halloweeny. With the black light, fog machine and scary music cd... a lot of kids were nervous to come to the door for their candy!
