What
is this site about?
This is just a fun site about the things in my daily life... crafts,
music, shoes, movies, food, travel... making the everyday special.
How do you make your website?
I use Blogger and I have server space at iPowerWeb.
I have been happy with both of them. I usually write up my html
with Macromedia Dreamweaver.
What do you use to make your illustrations?
I use Adobe Illustrator
and Adobe Photoshop. All my work is done on an Mac. I use my own photos or sometimes photos from freefoto.com for my banners.
How can I make a website like yours?
Well, it took two years of graduate school at Rochester Institute
of Technology learning about design, multimedia, usability and programming
to get started and I now do it at the office all day.
If you want to learn about building websites in your spare time
I would recommend the website Webmonkey and the HTML
Visual Quickstart Guide.
What camera do you use for your pictures?
Previous to 2005 I used a Kodak DC4800. Then it was a Kodak EasyShare LS753... after that a V550 and now I am using a V705. I also like to use Kodak EasyShare Gallery for sharing my pictures online and ordering prints.
What does LJC mean?
ljc = little jenny C. (a nickname I acquired in graduate school)
Have you ever won anything?
How nice of you to ask! Yes, I won Best Blog Design in the 2005 Weblog Awards...
Can you do illustrations for me?
I have toyed with the idea of freelancing, but I am just so stinkin'
busy. If all you want is a logo or character email me and I'll see
what I can work out.
Do you have and RSS feed?
Yes, it's http://www.ljcfyi.com/blog.xml
