Since my grandmother is German I decided to get her a German Christmas Pyramid as a gift this year. As I was doing research I discovered that there are a lot of tradtional German Christmas decorations. The nutcracker of course, which I always thought looked a little creepy with their bared teeth. Two other items I was not aware of were Candle Arches or Bows and Smoking Men.
My friend Kelly got a Smoking Santa for Christmas. You open him up and place a burning cone of incense inside. The incense smoke comes out his mouth as though he is smoking a pipe. Now I want one. Aaron and I stopped at a Christmas shop on the drive home yesterday but they had a limited selection. That's alright because I have twleve months to find one.
