Palindrome Day of Symmetry

So there is this thing going around that today is the Day of Symmetry. The idea is that "At 8:02PM on Wednesday, February 20th, 2002, time will, for sixty seconds, read in perfect symmetry. 20:02, 20/02, 2002

Right. But it also says that this is extra special because "It is an event which has only ever happened once before (10:01AM, on January 10, 1001), and is something which will never be repeated." Well no. As Kottke, pointed out it also happened at 11:11 on 11/11 in 1111 and will happen again at 21:12 on 21/12 in 2112. But not while we are alive, so it is the last Palindrome year of our lifetime.

More about palindromes....my little friend Hannah has a palindrome name and several years ago I watched "Lovers of the Arctic Circle" about Otto and Ana with a palindrome theme. Wow. Yay. (yeah... those are the best palindromes I can come up with)
