Weekend project
My mom is working on curtains for my house. Until she finishes, I have used some creative methods to block the view into my house from my neighbors. For this weekend's project I made a "blind" from bamboo stalks and some handmade paper (the kind that has leaves and sticks in it) Somewhat similiar to the screen I made awhile ago. I just hotglued the paper together then glued a bamboo stick over the seam. Aaron thought I had bought it.
It looks really nice when the sun is shining through. I used paper for Tina's screen though, so I need to get more. I also ran out of bamboo so the bottom isn't finished. Note at the top I have a rod of bamboo with loopy clippy things I got at Ikea displaying postcards. They are supposed to be for hanging curtains, but I like this use better.
