Suzie Q is so cutting edge, she blogged about the Magnolia Bakery, "on the corner of Bleecker and Eleventh Streets in the heart of Greenwich Village", days before I read about it in two different places! One article mentions how Jane Cosmetics created a shade inspired by the pastel green frosting on the bakeries cupcakes.
I went to Amazon to look at the Magnolia Bakery cookbook and also found a cookbook from the Buttercup Bake Shop located in midtown Manhattan, opened by the cofounder of Magnolia.
Which one is better? I imagine you would have to have both. Yum.
