Aaron and I went home for the weekend to see his visiting sister and to go to my family reunion. On the drive down, he wept a little as we passed the former home of The Big Scoop.
Thankfully we have found a replacement ice cream stop on Route 15. The Lewisburg Freez produced a large cone to rival that of the Big Scoops five scooper. And it was soft serve. The pictures really don't illustrate how big it was... it had been melting and licked while waiting to be paid for... and Aaron is a big guy... so even big ice cream cones look normal. I can honestly say there was a good six inches of ice cream above the cone.
That is a whole lot of ice cream... and one happy Aaron.
