I was at Target with Tina when she exclaimed "Swell stuff!". I had no idea what she was talking about. Apparently Target has a line of bed, bath, and clothes based on the designs of Cynthia Rowley, a fashion designer, and Ilene Rosenzweig, a style editor. Together they wrote a book called Swell: A Girls Guide to the Good Life which kicked off other versions for home decorating, fashion, love....
I couldn't believe there was a trend I was unaware of. Hmmfff. The stuff looks like a lot of fun. I love how Target teams up with designers... Michael Grave, Todd Oldham, Philip Starck. I wish I could have line of stuff at Target. Like the Ljc Pet Line. Little dog sweaters and cat beds with my illustrations on. Hmmmm.
(did anyone catch the Cole Porter nod in my title?)
