It's that time of year again. The Oscar nominees have been announced. Every year I strive to see all of the Oscar nominated movies. There have been years where I saw every movie including the foreign films and animated films. I don't think I will achieve that this year, but there will be a push to see all the major categories. This year it seems like if you see "Chicago", "The Hours" and "The Pianist" you have all your bases covered.
And then in March I have my Oscar party. We eat, we watch the show and we vote on who we think will win. Last year I got lots of fun stuff from Plum Party for the event. My invites were written out on strips of film inside film cans. This year we will have an official spokepuppy... Oscar the pug. Where might one find a very tiny tuxedo?
