Today was Tina's nephew's christening and niece's third birthday. Big day for the munchkins.

Being the fan of birthdays that I am, I made Mya a birthday hat and a doll cake.

Pictures of the celebration here...

  1. Wow, I wish I had you as a friend. You could take great pictures of all my events and do the cake and decorations too! Really, you should think Party Planner as a possible career choice. I'll bet you and Tina could rake in the dough.

  3. Both projects are absolutely darling... I especially enjoyed the one photo of the cake prep with the two bottles of Bacardi in the background... Nice combo!

    Great job... (as usual)

  4. I agree, you should really think of becomming a party or wedding planner. I know I'd hire you.

Now that you're married, I'm sure you get the "So, when are you having kids" question a lot. This isn't like that, but I can imagine that if or when you do, you'll have the most spectacular parties for them.

  5. Great cake! I was just thinking the other day that I needed to make one of those for my daughter's birthday in August. There was a very cute Martha Stewart Living show where they made cupcakes with smaller dolls - individual cakes for each guest with a built in favor. Yours is beautiful!

  6. Forgot to give props to Aaron for the icing job. Well done! Those classes seem to have paid off.
