A couple of years ago a coworker gave me a begonia clipping. I kept in water 'til it got roots and then planted it. It grew... and it grew... and it grew.

It is now crowding the other plants off the sideboard and taps me on the shoulder when I am eating and asks for a bite.

It has redeemed itself for it's largeness however, by sprouting some pink flowers this month.

  1. Heheh ... this is how the little shop of horrors started ... beware of the begonia. :)

  2. Speaking of growing plants, I visited Trudy the Titan today, but I came too late to smell the stink:

I can't believe it took 10 years for it to bloom.
