I have finally uploaded all 220 pictures from my vacation to my EasyShare Gallery page.

Among these you will find pictures of shells, sand, extreme matches of lawn darts, deep fried turkey, a group of pictures I call "gross things that washed up on the beach" and more lazy horses wandering down the beach that you can shake a stick at.

  1. Great pics! All of them! Thanks for taking me along with you and happy anniversary! Does your family get annoyed with you taking so many pictures? They looked a little annoyed on the chairs. Also, loved the pregnant horse...er, I guess I shouldn't just assume, but it looked pregnant.

  2. Loved your pictures! Long time reader who never comments but we were at the outer banks at the same time. I've been there countless times but my boyfriend and I took our first trek up north to look at the horses. Saw several but had no idea there were that many houses in the 4x4 section...thinking we'll have to look into that next year as I think it'd be great to stay up there! There's even a slight chance we passed you on the highway as I remember a young couple with a pug, but I don't think it was you guys!

  4. elaine - my family gets a kick out my my picture taking... they enjoy posing as you can tell from my mom's goofy antics. I think they looked annoyed because that was about the tenth time they had moved their chairs... the water kept creeping up the beach.

abbi - I love seeing the horses... it may have been us you saw.. except wherever we were, a big German Shorthair Pointer wasn't far behind.

    schajie - enjoy your vacation!

  5. Awesome pics! I'm guessing that you stayed in Carolla with all the horses? We went to Frisco in May and it was great but a little chilly!

  9. Let's see if I remember all my comments on the photos... :) First - I love the pink beach dress you had! Supercute! Then, all the photos reminded me of my childhood summers spent on the west coast of Denmark. The sand dunes, wide beaches and beautiful beach houses are pretty much the same! And then... I adore the horses. I can't believe they just walk around like that, without being bothered by people.
Last thing: on all your Outer Banks photos, it looks like you have the entire beach for yourselves. Like there's noone else around... and I thought it was a quite popular place to go. Am I completely off?

  10. Fabulous pics as usual! LOVE your hair! Does Oscar drink the sea water? We took the pugs to the beach and they got so sick from the tiny bit of sea water they lapped up.

  11. Wait a minute, my family went on vacation to the Outer Banks - Corolla, specifically - last week, too. And my family is an assortment of Asian and caucasian. And I have a little pink terry cloth beach dress. Are you my twin?

  13. Sandy - we are baffled by Oscar's grey beard. He just turns four in September.

Ida - the Outer Banks is very popular, but we went before school let out, so there weren't as many families there.

Shannon - we did catch Oscar slurping the water occasionally but it was really Wally who was sucking it down constantly.

    faycat - spooky!

erika - thanks! We had a nice anniversary.
