We picked this honey up at the Pittsford Dairy. Tupelo honey is interesting... produced from the Tupelo gum tree in northwest Florida.

It is tasty in my hot tea.

  1. My Uncle's sister owned Wixon's for years. They had the best ice cream ever!! We used to go there and get a cone and watch the bees in one of those glass walls. I loved going to Wixon's....

  4. If you ever happen to drop through Asheville, NC we have a restaurant called Tupelo Honey Cafe. They have awesome brunch and of course most of the stuff they make incorporates the honey =) There are probably other Tupelo Honey Cafes around the US but I've not checked.

  6. If you like Tupelo Honey you should check out the hand soaps available at Bath and Body Works. Its made by The Savannah Bee Company and looks and smells like honey ( "Tupelo" and "Orange Blossom" were the ones I saw here). I bought both for gifts and tied a "Do Not Eat" note on them. :)
