pyrex

I found these Pyrex Butterfly gold salt and pepper shakers last winter at an antique shop. They match my Pyrex butter dish. Now I am afraid to use any of them for fear of breaking up the set

  1. My Grandma has that whole set of dishes. I'll try to steal them for you when she isn't looking. [Smirk] Okay, that's her everday set. She'll definitely be looking.

  2. You definitely got me hooked on this whole vintage Pyrex thing :). I somehow managed to talk my mom into giving me her set - the avocado green Crazy Daisy patterns and now I'm obsessed about hunting for coordinating pieces. I'll keep my eye out for the other patterns for you :)

  3. Life is so short! The agony of losing a piece or two won't get anywhere near the fun and pleasure you'll get from using these often to serve and be served by family and friends.

  4. Oh, dear. You must not be well acquainted with ebay. There is tons of the Pyrex butterfly pattern for sale, for cheap. Use it, use it, use it!

  5. I think I see the 'Butterfly' pattern more than any other while thrifting. I wouldn't worry too much.
