Pet of the Week

We all think of the big Great Dane in the comics when we hear "Marmaduke". I was curious about the name so I looked it up. Marmaduke is of Irish and Gaelic origin, and the meaning is "follower of Saint Maedoc". And that's it. I was kind of disapointed. Doesn't mean huge or anything. Oh well. It's still a cute name for a cute dog.

Marmaduke #10767409

Meet Marmaduke, a 1-year-old, male Shepherd/mix. What an adorable face…he really is as cute, if not cuter, in person. Marmaduke came to Lollypop Farm as a stray, so we don’t know much about his background. He is very good on his walks. He's an energetic dog who will benefit greatly from a consistent routine, training, and lots of positive reinforcement. Marmaduke will be one happy pooch with a family that has lots of time to exercise his brain as well as his body. He would do best in home with kids over 16. Come out and meet Marmaduke if you have plenty of time to devote to this handsome, deserving boy!

  1. He is a cutie! I hope he finds a home soon. By the way, while looking for garden stuff from Craigslist, I found this ad for vintage tablecloths and thought of you:
