Biscoff Spread

When I was visiting my friends Mike & Meredith in Holland, they turned me onto a spread called speculoospasta. It looks like peanut butter but it tastes like.... pureed cookies. The cookies are called speculaas or speculoos and are popular in Belgium and Netherlands. It sounds weird but it's so delicious.

Meredith sent me home with a jar and I hoarded it. I would even give Aaron long stares if he was spooning out too much.

I was perusing the aisles at Wegmans when I spied a jar of Biscoff Spread. It is a different brand but the same tasty spread. Now that I know where I can get it locally I have been much more generous and took a jar to work to share.

  4. This sounds great, but I'm wondering what to put it on.. Is that an English muffin in the photo?

  5. Yup, whole wheat English Muffin. It's good on toast too.

  6. Biscoff brand cookies are the best! You get them on Delta flights but I also find them at Wal-Greens!
