I needed some St. Patrick's Day decorations so like my crayon/wax paper heart sun catchers, I made some shamrock ones.
It worked out well because there were lots of green crayons left in the boxes where i had picked out all the pink and red ones for the hearts.
They look cute hanging on my chalkboard.
Making these did involve a crafting accident. When I was melting the crayon with the iron some crayon oozed out the side and all over the ironing board cover. Oops.
if you lay a clean sheet of paper on top of the wax stains, iron the paper and peel, most of the stain should come out on the paper - work on carpet, might work for your case too :)
