Have you seen the new Wegman's chocolate bar flavors? Peppermint, cinnamon glazed pecans, raspberry and sea salt toffee. I like to keep a stash of chocolate at the office and these make afternoon chocolate break extra exciting.

Running on caffeine
The days are flying by, I am so busy at the show. It also helps that I am hopped up on chocolate and super caffeinated cola! You can read more about how this happened here.

ljc holiday gift guide: Hedonist Chocolates
Who doesn't love chocolate for Christmas? Ok I have a few friends that aren't chocolate obsessed but really it's hard to resist Hedonist Chocolate.
They have a cute little store front now in the South Wedge. So nice to go in and peruse.
They have such creative flavors... egg nog, fig, ginger molasses.... this one is POP ROCKS! It was awesome!

Chocolate filled strawberry cups
I have been thinking for awhile about what to make to take to our friend's Super Bowl party. I saw these chocolate filled strawberry cups on Pinterest but there wasn't a link to how to make them.
Aaron is the skilled chocolatier in the family so he stepped in and figured how to make them.
He also got creative and made some with the chocolate base and filled the berries with whipped cream.
I think I like these even better than chocolate covered strawberries cause there is a better chocolate to strawberry ratio and the chocolate doesn't crumble everywhere when you bite into them.
The whipped cream ones are good cause you get both the whipped cream and chocolate. Nom nom.

Belgian Chocolates
Having just been in Belgium I am enjoying a surplus of chocolate.
How cute are these little chocolate eggs? White, milk and dark... in their own wee egg carton.

Aaron got me these cat chocolates. Yum! Chocolates made out of kittys!
Update: Apparently "Katzenzungen" means "cat tongues". Which makes sense now looking at the shape of the chocolates. Thanks Karl!

As soon as I got off my redeye flight from San Fran today, I repacked my bags to go home to PA for Easter this weekend.
It's been tough planning for Easter when I have been gone for two weeks. I haven't gotten to decorate the house or color eggs. I should have at least gone online and ordered these Vosges chocolate bunnies. I love Vosges chocolate and these bunnies are too cute.
The descriptions for the different flavors are hilarious...
"Red Fire - Volcano Rabbit (Romerolagus diazi) Hops in the pine forests near the foothills of the Popocatepetl volcanoes. Rub my belly and you'll feel my spice, Ancho and Chipotle chillies, Ceylon cinnamon, and dark chocolate. Ahreeba, Ahreeba!!"
