Our tickets are for tonight (we held out until now so we could get seats at the comfy reclining theatre) and I made it til now without seeing any spoilers. Beyond excited.

Star Wars dog toys & outfits

We were in Petco to get Oscar and Hugo a new water dish when this display stopped us in our tracks. Star Wars dog toys.

It's a Star Wars fan/dog owner's dream. Lookit that big, flat Jabba the Hut!

They have clothes too, of course. T-shirts...

Hoodies... like this Boba Fett number.

Sweaters for when it gets chilly.

And Wookie coats for when it gets really cold! LOL!

Oh yea. Yoda ears and Princess Leia buns to complete your dogs outfit.

The Peep Strikes Back

The voting for our office peeps contest has ended so I can reveal that The Peep Strikes Back was my diorama. How many of you guess that?!

I was determined to recreate the Han Solo carbonite scene. Chewbacca has faux fur and a little Wookie bandolier. Note Boba Fetts antenae. The storm troopers are dipped white chocolate. C3PO is painted with gold paint. Lando Calrissi is accompanied by his assitant Lobot. There are a couple inaccuracies. Princess Leia was not wearing her well known white gown and cinnamon bun hairdo... she had on her snow suit and looped braids. Also, C3PO should be in pieces on Chewie's back.

I did resist adding R2D2 to the scene even though I really wanted too, since he was in the Degoba System with Luke.

Smart Trooper

Our Smart Car had to go to Buffalo for a tune up and we got a white loaner to drive. I think it looks like a Storm Trooper helmet. Awesome.
