St. Patrick's Recap

Thanks to Pinterest I made this for St. Patrick's Day. I called it Shamrock Pudding. Note my trifle dish was much larger than the one shown on Pinterest so I only got a fraction of the height. Almost a pintastrophe. Almost.

We went to our friends' annual St. Patrick's Day party and they had the usual fabulous spread with corned beef leading the way.

Back home I finished a felt shamrock garland...

... just in time to hang for the last few hours of St. Patrick's Day.

Then to top the day off... no St. Patrick's Day is complete with out a Wegmans froggy cupcake.

Frog cupcakes are back at Wegmans! It's a St. Patricks tradition.

It's time again for the Wegmans frog cupcakes. I still haven't figured out what the connection is between St. Patrick's Day and frogs, but the cupcakes are so good, it doesn't matter.

Froggy Cupcakes

It's almost St. Patrick's Day, so it's time for the froggy cupcakes at Wegmans.

Of course I had to get one. It's a yearly tradition.

It's froggy cupcake time again at Wegmans.

I know there has been a lot of questioning as to whether these even count as cupcakes.

Okay not widespread controversy or anything....... okay so like one comment... but anyhow.

I think they do count as cupcakes. Take a look inside.

I chomped one open so you can see there is indeed cake inside with lots of pink frosting on top. Then green frosting is poured over the whole thing.

Yummy and cute.

Yup, it's time for Wegman's St. Patrick's frog cupcakes again.

He looks almost too friendly to eat. Almost.

Ribbit

Once again Wegmans was making their frog cupcakes.

They had a rough ride home, however, and Aaron's started to collapse.

They were tasty, none the less.
