Sometimes I pack marshmallows for lunch. Everytime (it seems) I do, Joel tells me about how you can make taffy out of a marshmallow by pulling it over and over.
I wasn't about to sacrifice a marshmallow to try it.
Then on the Fourth of July, Diane told me the same thing. At this point I had to try it. So this evening after Aaron grilled bbq chicken and was getting out the s'mores supplies, I took a marshmallow and started stretching and pulling it. I was determined to make taffy. Pull pull pull. It did get smooth. And sticky.
But it just tasted like a smooth and sticky marshmallow.
Egg and bacon on a cheddar jalapeno bagel please
I ate at Einstein Brother's every morning when we were in Utah. I loved their egg bagel sandwiches. I miss them almost as much as Tina misses Jamba Juice.
Today I discovered Bruegger's Bagels is making egg bagel sandwiches. Mornings will look just a little bit brighter now.
