At Aaron's birthday dinner last night we split a dessert called a Chocolate Volcano. It was a fudgey cake sitting in a pool of hot fudge with vanilla ice cream on top. I nearly licked the plate clean.

I got a recipe for a sundae that sounds nearly as delicious. The Chocolate Coffee Dulce de Leche Brownie Parfait. I heard a lot about dulce de leche from Tina after she returned from Brazil. I think they even have dulce de leche M&M's. To make dulce de leche you boil condensed milk still in the can for an hour in a pot of water.

The sundae is made up of layers of chocolate ice cream, brownie, and the dulce de leche mixed with coffee syrup (half cup of expresso, sugar and Kahlua) and vanilla bean whipped cream (whipped cream with vanilla flavor).
