Unlaid off

After a sad day at the job placement agency, my manager came to tell me that someone turned down their job offer and I could have mine back... well, with a bit of a different description, but a job nonetheless. After a week of thinking things like "Well my teeth are pretty good, I wouldn't have to go to the dentist for awhile... How long can someone live off ramen?... Would renting Oscar out, cover the mortgage?"... my relief was overwhelming. I have some survivor type guilt... more like brought-back-from-the-dead guilt.

I have learned one big thing... one shouldn't wait for something like this to happen to get you working on things you have always thought about doing. My new computer is on it's way and I still plan on working on my portfolio and doing some freelance work. And Tina is still going to make me write a book.
