I wouldn't mind finding a copy of the book "Bitter With Baggage Seeks Same: The Life and Times of Some Chickens" in my Easter basket. It is a book of everyday situations... a crowded exercise class ("Maude was peeved. Her 3:30 yoga class was full again. Didn't anybody work in this town?")... illustrated with photos of the fuzzy little chick peeps you find at craft stores this time of year.

I got out my own little flock of peeps and set them up on the dining room table. They look befuddled.

  1. That wouldn't work well at our place, Molson would find such chicks highly entertaining toys....

  2. Speaking of Peeps (but in the sugary kind of way), are you aware that Walmart (of all places) has a whole line of Peeps stuff? Greeting cards, table decorations, napkins, etc.?

As my dad would type, "ITYMBIIT" (I thought you might be interested in that). ---Kay

  3. I totally lucked out a few months ago and came across a copy of this book at my local thrift store for 50 cents. Score! It is so hilarious, I hope you get a copy of your own. It's guaranteed to make a bad day good.

  4. I saw that book in Borderes a couple of weeks back and thought it was quite funny. Not all of 'em are funny though. :)
