Black Tuesday is the new Black Friday. Instead of the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas has been kicking in the day after Halloween. Orange and black have been instantly replaced by red and green on the shelves.

Determined to get a jump on the holidays and have a calm, enjoyable December, I find myself caught up in it all. I already spotted a wrapping paper cutter that I think will make all the difference this year. Must have. With this... the gifts will practically wrap themselves.

  1. Oooooh, the paper would be cut so straight with that. I can never manage to do it myself with scissors. Good find!

  2. Thanks for the tip. I can't seem to cut straight. It does pay to shope early than rush during the holidays.

  3. I began my shopping this week. The cashier exclaimed in surprise over my hoard of fake snow batting, bottle brush trees, and giant outdoor ornaments! But better to get it now than find everything out of stock later in the month (which happens in this one-store town).

  4. I had to watch the demo on the site to figure out how that would actually work. Now that I have seen it, it must be mine! I gift wrap on the go and that would help with those pesky wrapping-on-the-hood-of-my-car issues.

  5. This is so incredibly cool. My boyfriend designed the GiftWrap Cutter and we just stated marketing it last year! So great to hear people using the website and watching the demo!! It is a great product, and we're so excited to hear your reactions. And you send alot of people to the site--so thanks! - Liz

  6. Charles Shultz and George Orwell. Who knew they both could predict the future so accurately?
