I have been looking for a set of wood salad bowls and finally got this yard sale find. There is a serving bowl, four salad bowls and the tossers.

I was a little concerned about caring for them so I looked it up. There are things to be aware of... not soaking it for more than 10 minutes and not leaving metal in a wet bowl.

Now I am looking forward to making a big salad!

    It's good to look those things up! I bought my husband a wooden salad bowl a few years ago, and one day he left it to soak overnight with the rest of the dishes ... Grr!

    Most of those sets are made of Olive Tree Wood so coat them with olive oil to make them look like new...just gawking by ...
