snackJack

Autumn means lots of pumpkins. We swung by the pumpkin patch to pick up our first Snack Jacks for seeds.

Oscar loves going to the pumpkin patch.

I bought a couple heirloom pumpkins for on the front steps. Now if only my fall flowers would bloom.

I read somewhere that the white pumpkins have the best seeds for roasting.

  8. Are the seeds from a Snack Jack any different than other pumpkins? I have just always assumed that all pumpkin seeds are the same.

    Oscar is adorable!

  9. Pat - the seeds are WAY differnt. They are hull-less! It's like eating shelled sunflower seeds. They are amazing!

  10. I have to say - Oskar is a real star! And I love the pumpkin banner, too.
You really have to try roasted pumpkin slices with fried halloumi cheese on rucola, sprinkled with sweet mustard dressing - delicious!
