Mad Men premiere party

Aaron and I were invited to a Mad Men premiere party. Luckily Martha just posted a list of suggestions for a Mad Men party.

I made crock pot meatballs (which I didn't take any pictures of *gasp*) and this pineapple upside down cake. It baked in cast iron skillet. I love that! And it turned out really tasty.

Aaron broke out the skinny tie and pocket square for the party. Do we look vintage?

    Yes indeed - very vintagey! Was there food served on vintage pyrex? I always enjoyed spotting the pyrex on the show, and there was a lot to be seen, drool...

    Yes you look vintage. I think EXTREMELY bright red lipstick and ear bobs would be good too. I remember in the '60's when pineapple upside down cake was the domestic diva's go to for dessert.
