There are two new Italian food options in Rochester. I discovered both of them via Instagram.
Restaurant Fiorella is new spot at the Public Market. We went there for Tina's birthday and enjoyed a cozy celebration with tasty antipasti, pizza and pasta. I loved how they served the appetizers and pizza on top of big tomato cans.

There is a spot on Merchant's that has seen several restaurants the past few years - most of which we have tried with lukewarm results.
Now it is the home of Merchant's Wood Fired Pizza and Bistro. We stopped in as a treat after the Makers Faire and I'm happy to report that every dish we had was good. My gnocchi and the many bites of Aaron's mushroom pizza... all good.
