Hmmfff!

We needed some digital pictures at work for posting as "Picture of the Day" on slow days. So I sorted through my stash and sent some shots along.

One was from Hoover Dam, when I was in Las Vegas last fall. I particularly liked this shot looking down from the top of the dam, as a lens flare shines from the top right corner.

I really like lens flares. Sometimes I even add them in Photoshop.

This afternoon I noticed they used one of my pictures. Imagine my surprise when I read the description and discovered they used my picture as an example of "what not to do". "Unintended lens flare can spoil a great picture.", it says under my photo.

Bah!
