Baby Watermelon
Aaron really wanted to plant watermelon in the garden, so we planted three of them. There are now a half dozen baby watermelons lolling about.
One particular vine grew up the pea plant supports, and a watermelon is dangling from the vine. Aaron was so concerned that it would break off when it got heavy, he made a little table for it to sit on.
Joel suggested we make a little sling for it out of pantyhose and a post. My mom wants me to put one in a box to make a square watermelon. So many hopes and dreams riding on these little melons.
