Joel ordered ten LiveStrong wristbands, gave me one... then I went to the site and ordered ten to give to other people.
The wristbands are a tribute to Lance Armstrong's fight against cancer. They are a rubbery yellow with his mantra LiveStrong engraved on them.
The proceeds go to LAF, the Lance Armstrong Foundation. "The LAF believes that in the battle with cancer, knowledge is power and attitude is everything. This fundraising campaign will support the LAF's efforts to help young cancer survivors live strong."

ReplyDeleteWow thats cool! my uncle passed away a couple of months ago from prostate cancer. I'm going to buy some to give to my friends and family!

ReplyDeleteTheses are a awesome idea! Everyone in our school has them! Its the new "thing" and its for a great cause. Best of both worlds. Their a great fealing when you and everyone else has them on too, it makes you feel like your making a difference!
