What constitutes a cottage?
I am really excited about this new magazine that I found, Cottage Living. I love the idea of living in a cottage. It sounds like something in a fairy tale.
I don't know if I can make my boxy green house look like a cottage or not, but I subscribed to the magazine!
I picked up a copy of that magazine too. I think cottage is a state of mind...I love what's you've done with your house...the flags and outside decorating, the colors, your garden...beautiful. I also get Country Home, Country Living and Country Sampler Decorating Ideas, which I love and often display cottage-y homes. --Elaine

gasp! My husband and I are in the process of buying a cottage! What perfect timing! There are a lot of lakes in my area with tons of cottages that have been re-done to be lived in all year long. I'm signing up for that magazine right now!
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't until I moved out of my old apartment and saw the listing for it in the newspaper that I found out it was considered a cottage. I thought that was so sute but at the same time wished I would've known so that I could've milked it. I would've made a big deal about living in a "cottage".
