Summer is over and I almost forgot to post this. When we were at the beach last June I gathered shells like crazy. It wasn't until I got home that I started to wonder what I was going to do with all of them.

So I used some sand I scooped up, white glue, inexpensive frames and made these Shell Frames. Project page here...

  3. Off topic, but

Maybe you've posted about this and I missed it, but how is the patio looking? I've been trying to convince my hubby that it's a project we can take on, but he's not listening. Maybe a few pictures will convince him...

  8. Beautiful! I've made a variation, but never with sand and glue mixed. I'll be trying it your way for sure next summer!

  9. The frames are a really great idea. I was wondering if any of the sand is coming off now that it is dry or if it is pretty permanent? : )
