Some mornings you really need a bowl of hot oatmeal.

Alton's overnight crock pot oatmeal recipe.

  1. If you don't have a crock pot, you can also get the water boiling in a pot, toss in the oatmeal and turn off the heat, and then cover it overnight. You'll need to heat it up again in the morning, but it still saves time.

I love dried blueberries in mine (although I still have fresh ones in my freezer that I pop in from time to time!).

  2. I know you love your dairy milk, but have you seen the new sun milk? It's advertised as "Quite Possibly the World's Healthiest Milk" but I say it's "most definately the world's cutest milk!!" You'd go crazy for the packaging - I did!

  9. OR, you can do what I did after being inspired by your post and go to Smoothie King and get a Heaterz, which are hot oat bran smoothies. Sounds gross, but very tasty and filling. I had a banana nut bread one!
