After years of those familiar rectangular tic tac boxes, yesterday I spied the new tic tac Bold!. I kept looking until I saw the new Doublemint Twin Mints too.

I was looking for them online... found nothing... I am always amazed when a company launches a new product, but doesn't place any mention of it on their website, or only offers a sad little press release.

Candy companies are so smart to put their stuff in the checkout aisle, though. Standing there... even new candy packaging seems exciting.

  1. I find it odd/unsettling/irritating when I can't find new product information on a website, too. I mean, it's not like they don't have $$$ for web marketing.

  4. The new tic tac containers are tres chic, but are they totally eliminating the original rectangle boxes? boo. Interesting how doublemint is getting into the breath mint market...I read an article in the wall st. journal how lots of candy/gum makers were going to launch mint products due to the booming sales of breathmints... (anyone remember when altoids came in the paper envelopes?)
