I head out of Las Vegas tonight on the red eye. I am looking forward to coming back again soon, maybe with my parents for Aaron's birthday this fall.

Hopefully the Grand Canyon Skywalk will be finished by then. Skywalk is a cantilever shaped glass bottomed walkway suspended more than 4,000 feet over the floor of the Grand Canyon. It is located at Grand Canyon West owned by the Hualapai Tribe and is scheduled to open March 28, 2007.

It makes my stomach flip just looking at it. Can't wait.

This is a shot of it being constructed... I looked at the larger version very closely for loose bolts and whatnot, just to be sure.

Wow, that is really amazing and space-age looking. Most manmade towers-turned-tourist attractions have glass floors, too, so why not the Grand Canyon.

hi, i'm interested if you have experienced copyright infringement allegations with pictures you post on your blog that are not your own and if not, how you protect yourself.

That walkway almost makes me nauseuous just to look at it...there's no WAY I'd get on it. But, hey, cool for those who don't have acrophobia! :)

Most amazingly excellent! J and I would love - you'd never get my parents there.

I was pretty excited when I first heard about this project. I can't wait to check it out, but I just know that my legs will turn to rubber once I step on the platform.
