I have a thing for dresses over jeans. This is my new favorite, a corduroy number I just got.
Just one problem I discovered. No pockets. I don't think I realized what pocket person I was until I didn't have any and couldn't get to my jean pockets.

i would consider cutting a slash into the dress on-seam so you could access your jean pockets. i would be afraid that the dress would lose its shape with things carried in pockets.
... well, maybe not corduroy.
