I had big plans for today - been planning a strawberry picking party for weeks. The weather had other ideas. Everyone was a trooper, but we had to throw in the towel and head right to the shortcake eating part of the party.

I did get a few pictures at the patch though, like this great one of Sarah and Anna. I think the rainbow umbrella helps!

Aaron was the only one who braved the rain and picked a giant bowl of berries!

Look at this monster strawberry!

That pretty lady on the top right is a blogger too, isn't she? I used to follow her, and have since forgotten the address to her site. But I think about her son whenever I see Yo Gabba Gabba...but if that isn't her,then this is a long-winded moot post.

those strawberries look deelish, my strawberry plant is always pretty plucked dry unfortuantely! Next time you make little scones/shortcake you should try making macadamia creme with it! yum.
