Giada's smashed taters

Starting in on the recipes in my new Giada cookbook. First up - smashed potatoes. First you boil lil taters, smash them, then fry them on each side. It is very satisfying to smoosh those spuds with the palm of your hand.

The best part was the recipe called for lemon and it was finally time to pluck the Myer lemon I have been growing for a year. It was delicious. I hope I can grow another one.
