Pets can be so cute. Look at this... awwww... so cute. So cuddly.

But not always. Here is a harsh dose of reality.

[If you have a weak stomach, do not read further]

This morning I was brushing my teeth, when I heard both Oscar and Stewie munching on something. I thought maybe Stewie knocked over his food container and they were helping themselves. Oh no.

I went into the bedroom to discover that Oscar had thrown up and they were both feasting on the undigested bits of his breakfast kibble. Uggggh. I had to drag both of them out and shut them out of the room while I cleaned it up.

Double ick.

  1. Oh poor girl. Would it make you feel better or worse to know you weren't the only one who has had to do that at some point?

  2. be grateful that oscar at least doesn't like going and munching out of stewie's litter box; my dog seems to have acquired a taste for tootsie rolls our neighbor's cats leave in the yard. hmm..

  3. Our dogs do that too. Just be thankful you weren't us last night. We came home to two guilty looking labs who had pulled all my photo boxes off the shelves, thrown the previously-in order-by-event pictures all around the room, and then ATE some of the pictures. I think I'm now in the market for some good photo albums.

  4. As a good morning gift, my cat jumped up on the table and peed. Not just on the table which is bad enough, but also on a cell phone. I wonder if her life flashed before her eyes as she did it. Little jerk. I better have earned a few good karma points for not killing her.

  6. Dude...that's the best part of having pets. They eat all the stuff you don't want to clean up.

  7. Ewww! I had to comment because one of our cats throws up IN HER FOOD BOWL. I'm not sure what that's all about, whether she actually goes to the bowl when she needs to throw up, or whether it's just because she's already there, but talk about GROSS. Once could have just been coincidence, but she's done it several times.

  8. Our dog LOVES and gets excited when our kids were babies and had milk spit-up or vommit... I would have to fight to keep her away so that I could clean up the floors first. But then of course, she also somehow found the burp towels and licks those like crazy too...
